Hi guys.
Many of you lives in Europe, and as you know, our operators have different LTE Bands unlike the China.
For example, in my Country we have B1, B3, B7 and B20.
The problem is that Xiaomi phones doesn't support at all Carrier Aggregation between some of these bands.
My phone (Mi 8) can attach only to B7 and B20 or single B3, this is a problem, because without B3-B7 we don't have higher speeds (More than 150Mbps).
Snapdragon 845 supports up to 5 CA with 4x4 MIMO, reaching 1Gbit speed, so it's not hardware problem, but it's disabled from Xiaomi.
The place where i live, we have 1Gbit LTE, but i can reach only 100-150Mbps, sometimes. (GG).
LG G4 can reach higher download speeds, a phone 4 years old phone.
This problem is not isolated, it happens also on Pocophone F1 or Mi Mix 3, three High-End devices.
My second phone (Galaxy S8) can reach around 800-900Mbps in the same place, same operator.
I know that these phones are from China, but if you want to ship them also as Global, you need to fix common problems.
I remember a post from may 2018 where you said that next devices could support better CA, but we are in the same place.
Do you agree with adding CA support at least on Flagship/Pocophone?
