Hello Mi Fans,
Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon variant landed on the local market of Bangladesh recently while the MTK variant is already available in the market. Both the devices are priced at same - BDT 17,990.
Today, I am presenting the comparison between the aforementioned variants of Redmi Note 4 backed with the hands-on photos.
The physical dimension of the both variants is almost same, but the MTK variant is a bit thinner.
The build quality of both variants is good. The outlook is alomost same, can you spot the differences?
On the back, there is a thinner line in upper and lower back of the Snapdragon variant while the line is wider in the MTK variant.
Let's have a look on some more pictures of Redmi Note 4 MTK vs SD variant.
To round up, if performance of the two versions is compared, the Redmi Note 4 MTK variant will be definitely the winner since Mediatek’s Helio X20 chip is actually meant to power flagship models. You will get a clear picture of perfomance comparison through the following AnTuTu Benchmark result:
The MTK variant is packed with Helio X20 chipset while the Snapdragon variant comes with the all-new Snapdragon 625 SoC.
On the other hand, in terms of power efficiency, the Snapdragon variant should have an edge. The SD 625 SoC comes with eight power efficient cores, which although may not be powerful, they are super efficient. This along with the 14nm manufacturing process will ensure that the battery on the Redmi Note 4 is amazing. Remember that both the models come with 4100mAh battery and on paper, the battery life should be better on the SD625 version as compared to the Helio X20 model.
