As a core member of the Xiaomi Global team based in Beijing, the Social Media Specialistwill be primarily responsible for creating content, focusing on engagement, and managing Xiaomi's presence in social media channels on various platforms.
1. Follow Xiaomi's user voice & tone, manage and develop our social accounts into a similarly friendly conversational personality globally as what Xiaomi has accomplished in China
2. Create and manage existing and new social media accounts for a line of Xiaomi product (Facebook, Twitter or any other relevant local social networks) and ensuring the engagement is met. Xiaomi’s philosophy on social is to make friends with our fans.
3. Own and be accountable for all social media engagement metrics for the product line. Content and engagement go hand-in-hand.
1. Native local language speaker
2. Good command of English for business communication.
3. Added bonus to be able to communicate in Mandarin.
4. Bachelor degree in top-tier university in a Creative or Communications-related field
5. 3-5 years of experience working in social media, with hands-on management of social media accounts.
6. Demonstrate experience building social media audiences, including hands-on development of creative materials and copy
7. Experience with social media analytics and optimization techniques, having directly managed end-to-end execution of social media campaigns.
8. Creative writing skills
9. Strong sense of design and aesthetics
10. Entrepreneurial spirit, not a "corporate person" and very outgoing, likeable,presentable, humble and naturally capable of easily interacting with others
11. Hands-on attitude
12. Quirky personality
