Did you use bluetooth for connectivity? If yes, then do according to following methods:
Method 1: The first method is to simply switch the Bluetooth off and then on again. To do so, head towards Settings and scroll to the connection tab. Next, select Bluetooth and toggle it to off. Wait for few seconds and on it again to see if the issue is resolved then.
Method 2: If the above method does not work out for you, then again go to the Bluetooth option > Connection tab and forget the device or devices that have issues. Once the process is completed, reconnect the device and check.
Method 3: Clearing the cache to remove the Bluetooth data is another helpful step to get rid of the issue. Temporary data is stored in the cache for better performance at the time of switching between apps. But too much of cache can give rise to various issues so it is better to clear it. This problem usually occurs when you try to connect to your car Bluetooth devices. However, here are the steps:

Select the App icon from the home screen of your Galaxy S6
Tap the Settings icon
Hit Application Manager
Swipe the screen left or right in order to find All Tabs
Select Bluetooth
Tap Clear Cache
Select Clear Data
Choose Ok
Now restart your phone
