Hi! I just want to share my experience using the ROM. It is better than stock miui. But it became even better when I lowered the maximum clock speed 3 steps down (<2000) and changed the governor to  ondemand. Web pages and flipboard loaded way faster.

Hi Everyone,First of all Thanks Developer Danny for this awesome ROM.
I used BDITA 2.1 for some days and i would like to share the experince with all of you. Hope this helps to people who have not upgraded from BDITA 2.0 yet.

Starting with the Installation I flashed the following zip packages in the same order with the help of CWM Recovery:
1] BDITA 2.1
2] Gapps Modular Pico version.
3] Dolby Atmos zip provided by developer in the main post.

Here after flashing procedure when I booted into ROM I noticed heavy battery usages. It was very annoying so I thoroughly recalled everything I did while flashing the ROM. (I am no developer so I heavily relied on google for the help.) I found out that mediaserver was the process which ate up half of my MIPADs battery. Then I rembered that this was the first time when I forgot to remove my SD card from tab while flashing the ROM. (I dont know if this small move makes any big difference or not but this surely did solved my problem when I flashed the ROM again without SD card inside.So if you are facing the same problem please dont blame our active developer but try this trick to solve your problem.)

After successful boot I was ready to customize my MIPAD in my own ways to make it unique among other android devices. I wanted to make it look beautiful without sacrificing the RAM and battery of the device. I used the following collection of apps and themes.
1] Launcher - Apex

We are on cyanogenmod and we cant live without tweaking our devices upto optimal to get the desired performance out of it. I also like to tweak my MIPAD for the best performance. I followed some online guide and according to device I applied following settings. I am currently happy with the modified configurations.
1] Set the CPU governer to PERFORMANCE. (If you need to.) [Settings>Performance>System>Processor>CPU governer]
2] In developer options set animation scale to 1.5x for all the three options. I think it makes the laggy window transition appear smooth. While doing so I saw no big difference in CPU usages and RAM operations. [Settings>Developer Options>Drawing --- Now set scale 1.5x for Window,Transition and Animator scale.]
3] To reduce battery usages turn off notification vibration and keyboard vibrations.
4] To avoid bad sound output from speakers turn of Dolby if installed and you will not hear bad cracking sound on high volume levels. Only use Dolby for Headphones. Set default Music Effects to Dolby. [Settings>Sound>Automation and Effects>Music Effects.]
5] I found out that the L Speed app from playstore allows for  more performance tweaking. I am still confused with the L Speed mod that developer included in the changelog is same as that of the app available in the playstore [?]. I am using this app and found out it to be really helpful for improving performance.
6] Always use lockscreen security.

Unfortunately I am having the same issue. I think this problem cannot be permanently eliminated as MI is not helping developers by providing kernal and other resources. But you can try Lspeed app from playstore and apply settings "Recommended" it should help reduce the problem. (In my opinion. :) )

Why do you write in the list changes to my achievements? I'm builder CyanogenSmoke Mod. Either specify whose firmware you are using, or remove it from here. You coppied my kernel, with settings, governors, tweaks, and modules, nothing is changing.

did you try using the device while copying a files from internal to external (or vice versa)?
on CM 11, you can't use your device while copying because of slow response, try changing the I/O to different governors but still same problem
anyway thanks for your work, hope we can see some solid roms on our mid pad regardless of kernel and update releases :D
