1. The update is suspended for Redmi 3 and Mi MIX 2.
2. For users of Mi 4, Redmi 3S, Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm, Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, Redmi Note 4 MTK, Redmi 4X, please update your Google Map to the latest version after upgrading via OTA. Otherwise, FC issue will occur in these devices. Thanks for your understanding.
3. Global Beta ROM 8.1.11 Android O for Mi 6 has been released. For those who use MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM, please update your device to MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM 7.12.14 and then you will receive OTA of Android O. For those who use MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM, you can update to Android O via OTA. MIUI 9 Global Public Beta ROM Supported Devices:
MIUI 9 is now available for Mi MIX 2, Redmi Note 4 MTK, Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm/Redmi Note 4X, Mi 6, Mi Note 2, Mi 5, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, Mi Max, Mi Max Prime, Mi Max 2, Mi 3, Mi 4, Redmi 3, Redmi 3S, Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm, Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, Redmi Note 2, Redmi 4/4X, Redmi 4A, Redmi Note 5A/Y1 Lite, Redmi Note 5A Prime/Y1.
The update has been suspended for MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM (closed beta and public beta) of the following devices, namely, Mi 2/2S, Mi 4i, Redmi Note, Redmi Note Prime, Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime and Mi Note. How to Upgrade to MIUI 9
1. Please don’t forget to back up your data before upgrading to MIUI 9.
2. If you are using MIUI V5 / MIUI 6 / MIUI 7 / MIUI 8 stable ROM, please upgrade to MIUI 9 via the fastboot method.
3. If you’re using MIUI 8 Global Beta ROM, please go to ‘Updater’ and check for updates.
