Hello!
Welcome back to another chapter of "TECH DISCOVERY"
About TECH DISCOVERY In this series we create some posts on technological stuffs and apart from that we would like to take your suggestions, idea and reviews about any topic (bounded by tech). We hope you would like this new concept of techinical talk show.
Let's start!
Nowdays with the number of devices growing, more apps, contents and files are emerging. Keeping all these stuffs in your mobiles is nearly impossible, for that we need to free up our storage by moving or deleting files. When the phone memory is full, it is like a nightmare. On the very urgent time, it's difficult to get solutions for that.
Addition of external storage like SD and OTG also slows down your phone's performance. What if we can keep all of the files we have? Let it be videos from uncle's marrage, 2010 birthday pics, all popular apps, collection of songs and more! There will be less use of your data pack, for fetching of files everytime from internet and connecting your mobile to transfer files from pc.
Currenty it's partially possible with huge mobile storage. Some flagship phone already offering 128-256 gb internal storage(i.e Mi MIX 2).
On Dec 5th, 2017 Samsung Electronics announced that it has begun mass production of the industry’s first 512-gigabyte (GB) embedded Universal Flash Storage (eUFS) solution for use in next-generation mobile devices. Utilizing Samsung’s latest 64-layer 512-gigabit (Gb) V-NAND chips, the new 512GB eUFS package provides unparalleled storage capacity and outstanding performance for upcoming flagship smartphones and tablets.
Consisting of eight 64-layer 512Gb V-NAND chips and a controller chip, all stacked together, Samsung’s new 512GB UFS doubles the density of Samsung’s previous 48-layer V-NAND-based 256GB eUFS, in the same amount of space as the 256GB package. The eUFS’ increased storage capacity will provide a much more extensive mobile experience. For example, the new high-capacity eUFS enables a flagship smartphone to store approximately 130 4K Ultra HD (3840×2160) video clips of a 10-minute duration, which is about a tenfold increase over a 64GB eUFS which allows storing only about 13 of the same-sized video clips. Definately costing will be high but it seems to be a lifesaving technology!
Would you like to have a huge internal storage?
