How much internal storage do you need in your phone?

I would need several terabytes to carry everything Id like to, but 32 Gb is enough for what I NEED.

The way the evolution of the Smart phone market is going we're increasing towards some form factors akin to the early days of Mobile phones lol.

On that note, think back to those good old Nokia's and Panasonics and NEC phones with small / no memory capacity unlike today's phones. Pretty amazing stuff really how the phones evolving and how we take size for granted these days on our phones.

I remember when I was excited to put a 64Mb memory card in my Nokia 7250 :p Had to reencode some MP3's with lower quality (which lets face it, you couldn't tell the difference anyway) just so I could fit a few more songs on there lol

64 would be ideal, but in reality 32 is enough. I don't want to rely on the cloud for anything, I would much prefer it all be on my device. Otherwise I would always have those scenarios where I'm somewhere I don't have good reception/or wifi, and I want to hear a certain song really badly, but oops! It's not on my device! Haha. I also have multiple large games (Gangstar, Max Payne, GTA, etc) on my phone at the moment, and would like to keep them all on at once, so I can go between them while still having free space. So, I'll say that while I'd like to see a 64, or even 128 GB Mi-Two/Three, 32 is definitely a good amount. Support for 64 GB MicroSD would be very welcome as well.

until the mobile traffic is going down for all here in Germany.. from 1 GB to 500MB per month.. u have to take wlan for cloud systems.. over mobile the traffic is going down instantly... so 32GB is good.. u need as much as u can get on ur device.. cloudsystems are only useful with unlimited traffic.

As long as android doesn't get rid of TF card, 16G for rom will be enough, wich differs greatly from ios.

honestly 16gb is enough if you use your cellphone for work, you could install most of the apps you need to go around, dictionaries, maps, social media programs, etc etc etc

but if you start gaming and also watching movies a lot on the phone which for me is not the primary use for a phone, then you need at least 32gb or 64.

currently i use xiaomi 1 with 16gb card and i have some games, couple of movies, and tons of apps, some garbage ones that i might use someday and its still going fine.

btw, if xiaomi 2 comes with only 16gb and no expansion it would be a big turn off for most of the smartphones enthusiasts.
if it doesnt have expansion at least it should have a 32gb.

I would be happy with 16GB (or even less), but i can understand it when people want to put their phone full of music and movies, they need more. Especially if you want to put movies on there that use the full resolution of that screen.
