Personalization!!!!

I was reading this article http://www.neowin.net/news/why-i-wont-be-buying-the-iphone-5 in Neowin and I kept sayin myself "MIUI".

I mean, that's exactly what this guy wants! He's complaining about all iphones being the same (which is right) and comparing it to windows phone, BUT, that's not even remotely close to what MIUI can offer in terms of Personalization.

I, for once, have never seen two similar MIUI setups. Proof of that is this thread over at XDA:  http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=990233
check it out and share your thoughts, I bet you can't find 2 identic MIUI setups.

What amazes me is how on earth Apple got away with not complying with the Universally accepted standard of Micro-USB connectors like all other phone manufacturers are doing. Let them alienate themselves further from the world. Their is no place in the web / world for iPhone 5. It will be the slow, painful end to Apples iPhone (I HOPE!)

There's nothing to stop those "iphone geniuses" from buying iphone. It can be proven by the new preorder record for the iphone 5 now. They just never learn, giving profits to the cannibalism apple to start lawsuits with all smartphone manufacturers.

Android may offer customization, but my experience with it so far is the manufacturer skins are horrible, and third party widgets and apps that actually look remotely good on the platform are few and far between. It’s tiringly inconsistent.

obviously this guy hasnt tried MIUI!, what a bum, windows on a phone is not good at all.. android all the way!

After seeing WP7 I have to say, yes it's smooth but god it looks crap.  The most boring OS I've ever seen on a phone. And I had a 3210.

That's why lots of android users don't choose iOS or Windows Phone.Many people jailbreak their iPhone just for some efficient widgets and do beautification.
Both iOS and Windows Phone are very good operating system but with no DIY fun in them.
